Before I go too deep into my report, heres another interesting screenshot:
I wonder if anyone who played as China decided to put three cities in a row like that. Anyways, back to the war. I started by declaring war on Saladin. I didn't have many units, but produced and continued to produce enough units to just barely finish him off. First, I captured Baghdad just south of Memphis. Then Damascus, east of Najran. Then I took Mecca, and finally Medina.
The next wonder I built was the Statue of Liberty in Thebes. Then came Broadway. Finally, when I entered the Tank era, I declared war on the last member of the Hindu block. Nottingham was first to fall, north of Mecca. York came next, east of Pi-Ramesses, which I had founded long ago east of Thebes. Canterbury came next, and then finally London.
Thus ended the Hindu block. Notice that Roosevelt, Mao and Mansa all switched to Free Religion. I would ask them to switch a few times to reimprove relations. My plan was thus to win diplomatically. It would be a smooth road there, right? Right?...
